If you have a concept, product, service or opportunity in a sector that fits with the Lab’s objectives and you want to develop it commercially it then it might be worth getting in touch. Here at the Lab we need to work with a Devon based SME so we would have to work through some details. We may be able to match you with a business that is looking to work on similar subjects and put a collaborative project together with you. Please have a look through the information at the two links below and then get in touch if you want to know more. What To Expect What We Offer
We are certain that the partnership and the region possess capabilities in environmental futures and big data that are world beating. We know that the skills, capabilities and data that we have here are an attractive asset and we would like to encourage larger, global players to come and see what we have to offer.
The lab exists to serve SMEs, so how would it work if a larger business wanted to work with us? We know that innovation is challenging work and we know that sometimes a small business is quicker to identify and take advantage of market opportunities than their larger cousins.
And therein lies the opportunity, if you are charged with gaining advantage by exploiting big data and /or the possibilities arising from environmental futures then perhaps a collaborative project with the Lab and a SME would help you on your way?
And remember, the SME gains by being exposed to the real world opportunities that your business is facing.
And this is happening already, the team at the Lab is already talking to a number of larger businesses and public sector bodies about the problems that they need help with and asking whether there are SMEs who can help.
If this sounds at least worth an initial discussion then please contact us.
