The SETsquared Partnership is the enterprise collaboration between the universities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter, Southampton and Surrey. SETsquared supports high tech start-up companies, provides student enterprise and enables academics to maximise the impact of their research.

A collaborative student startup support programme delivered by the Careers and Employability services at the University of Exeter and Exeter Innovation Centre. Think. Try. Do. supports entrepreneurial students, developing their enterprise and employability skills as well the opportunity to start their own business.

A non-profit company with a 200-strong team, Business West supports 21,000 businesses to start and grow as well as lobby government on their behalf. This is achieved through a number of initiatives, including Innovate to Succeed and Enterprise Europe Network.

Exeter Science Park aims to deliver growth in science, technology, engineering and medicine related enterprise in the region. The Park is set to be cornerstone of a knowledge-based economy which is currently achieving unprecedented growth rates.

Exeter Initiative for Science and Technology was founded by Exeter Chamber of Commerce and Industry in association with Exeter’s leading research and development organisations. The group has come together to showcase science, technology, engineering, mathematics and medicine in Exeter.

The Heart of the South West (HotSW) Local Enterprise Partnership is a strong and dynamic business-led partnership between the private sector, local authorities, universities and colleges. It aims to lead and influence economic growth, job creation and prosperity across the HotSW area.

The Heart of the South West Growth Hub provides independent diagnosis and referrals to existing business support services.

The Heart of the South West Apprenticeships Service (Serco) provides bespoke training and supports businesses and employees to achieve recognised, accredited apprenticeship qualifications.

The Enhance Social Enterprise programme delivers business support and advice to new and established social enterprises within the Heart of South West LEP area.

Innovate UK is part of UK Research and Innovation, a non-departmental public body funded by the UK government. It drives productivity and economic growth by supporting businesses to develop and realise the potential of new ideas, including those from the UK’s world-class research base.

Exeter’s first and biggest coworking community. The Generator provides workspace, meeting rooms, social space, events and networking to the community.

Hacked encourages young people to stay away from cybercrime and instead use their talents for the good of the community by developing skills and careers in the lucrative cyber security industry.

The Aviation Skills Partnership is committed to developing a sustainable pool of skilled workers in the civil and defence aviation industry, to increase the economic output of the UK.
