Apply now for a fully-funded PhD in Environmental Intelligence, at Exeter, by 31/03Published: 1st March 2019
The University of Exeter is welcoming applications for ten fully-funded places at its new UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) Centre for Doctoral Training in Environmental Intelligence: Data Science & AI for Sustainable Futures. The funding for this four-year course covers University tuition fees, and all course fees, plus funds towards research activities and an annual stipend, which is £15,009 for the 2019/2020 academic year.
This announcement follows the news of the UKRI awarding Exeter £7.4m to establish an Centre for Doctoral Training in Environmental Intelligence. The new centre, which will attract £1.2m of funding from industry, is supported by Impact Lab partners, the Met Office and Exeter City Futures. It will support 50 PhD Students over five years and delivers another foundation stone towards a industrial strategy based on developing our region as an international centre for environmental futures and big data analytics.
